Messages android pics not downloading

I will receive all of my texts, however, if I am in a one-to-one text message. I have factory reset my phone, ensured that the MMS auto download is on, the service center flashed the phone, and I have done all the things. When I am in a group text, I will recieve some of the texts but then some of them will not download. The text will fall under the person who sent it and it will have the following:.

At this point, I am ready to give up on Samsung. The service location could not resolve the issue and told me that I would have to send the phone into the service center without a temp being provided. Obviously, sending my phone in without a back up is not an option. Its curved sides are the first of its kind. Two days ago I started having a problem with group text messaging.

I have no problem sending texts, but the replies come back from the individuals in the group. Two days ago I tried renaming my group, instead of having 3 cell phone numbers. WHen I did that, replies to the group came in without any identities. I fixed that but still have the above problem. Hi, Deb. Check your data settings, not your group messaging settings.

Both my wife and I have an issue with receiving MMS files from my daughter. This is a real conundrum. I have a note 8. They never download. When Im on my cell carrier network, the files will download. Please check to see whether the data is enough to send MMS messages.

Thank you and have a great day! Please try the following below. Also try resetting your Network settings. Also found withing the connection settings. If none of these troubleshooting steps help, the steps above or Clearing the cache, I would recommend speaking with the Carrier to have them check things on their end. View solution in context. What phone doe n you have? I don't know if you have resolved your issue, afterall you complained about this problem in March.

I was having the same problem and I cleared the cache partition on my S20 and it seems to have fixed the problem for me. You can google "clearing cache partition on S20" and you will find instructions.

Sometimes a second level reset or soft reset can resolve this issue as well. If your phone allows you to remove the battery than, with the phone powered on, remove the battery from the unit. Count to 10 just like before, and then reinsert the battery into the phone, and power it back on. Make sure that the phone is not plugged into a charger when removing the battery or the phone will still have access to a power source and this reset might not work.

Sometimes when Android smartphones have too many messages saved on them they can get a little clogged up and have problems sending and receiving both regular text messages and multimedia messages. If your messages have started to pile up on the device then go through the saved message threads and do some cleaning. Data and Information can add up over time so try and stay on top of your saved messages. Sometimes Android phones have problems and need to be wiped clean.

Android makes it very easy and is very user friendly when backing up your information before doing the restore. To fix this issue, it is necessary to clear the cache and data for the messaging app.

Firstly, you can boot your phone to safe mode to eliminate the reason. In this mode, all the third-party apps are disabled. Just test the ability of MMS. If messages can be downloaded, a third-party app is a culprit. Usually, some cleaner apps or antivirus programs interfere with the normal working of your phone. The best way is to uninstall them. If all of these methods fail to work, the only solution is to perform a factory reset.
